When Doug Adamson opened Villagio in February 2002, he'd already spent over a decade in the tile industry. He'd built Tile West Distributing from a shoestring startup into a thriving distribution company, then sold it in 1999. He knew the industry inside and out — but he also saw something missing.

Arizona's designers and luxury homeowners deserved a showroom that matched their standards. Not a warehouse with samples on a rack, but an immersive design experience where the world's finest tile and stone could be seen, touched, and imagined in context.

That vision became Villagio — Italian for "village" — a 10,000-square-foot showroom in Scottsdale where every surface, every display, and every interaction is designed to inspire.

Twenty-four years later, Villagio has been voted #1 Favorite Showroom by Ranking Arizona for eight consecutive years. We've maintained a BBB A+ rating with zero complaints. And the designers who walked through our doors in the early years? Many of them still do.
